Eniola Babington
ParalegalEniola is a dedicated and people-focused paralegal who brings a genuine passion for helping others to the Haxel Law team. Warm, fun to be around, and naturally personable, she pairs her upbeat energy with a strong sense of dependability and conscientiousness, qualities that make her a trusted support for both clients and attorneys alike.
A Springfield-area native, Eniola graduated from Pleasant Plains High School before earning her associate degree from Lincoln Land Community College in 2019. She continued her education at the University of Illinois Springfield, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a minor in Business Administration in 2024. During her studies, she was honored with the Mayme I. Lawrence Pre-Law Scholarship and is an alumna of the prestigious Illinois Legislative Staff Intern Program.
Eniola was drawn to the legal field because of her belief that the law touches every aspect of our lives, even in ways we don’t always notice. She understands that many people lack the time, resources, or experience to navigate complex legal matters on their own. Being part of a team that gives clients a voice, guides them through challenging processes, and advocates for their rights is what motivates her daily. For her, the most rewarding part of her work is knowing that she’s helping someone who truly needs support and deserves justice.
Outside of the office, Eniola enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching action and sci-fi movies at AMC, grabbing pastries from local coffee shops, and exploring events in downtown Springfield.
