Legal AssistantAs a Legal Assistant at Haxel Law, Jillian Krieger brings compassion, dedication, and a deep desire to help others to every client interaction. Whether offering a reassuring voice on the phone or greeting clients with a smile at the front desk, Jillian understands the importance of being a steady presence during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Motivated by a desire to bring justice to communities like her hometown, where she witnessed the impact of crime without accountability, Jillian is pursuing a future in law to create meaningful change. She plans to attend law school after graduating in 2026, with a focus on legal issues in the medical field, and aims to be in practice by 2030.
Jillian joined Haxel Law seeking a job that aligned with her goals, and found a place that feels like home. She is proud to work alongside a team that values kindness, connection, and doing right by their clients. “I am a helping hand and a shoulder to lean on,” she says. “I’ll be there every step of the way.”
Outside of the office
Jillian is passionate about community and connection. She plays in her hometown pickleball league and is a member of St. Patrick’s parish in Decatur, IL. She’s also actively involved in St. Jude’s parish in Rochester, IL, where she’s worked with Father Peter Chineke, joined the choir, and even participated in a pilgrimage to Greece.
In her free time, Jillian enjoys cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers, grabbing a bite at Dublin Pub in Springfield, and spending time with her adorable kitten, Maeby. She's a big fan of The Hunger Games, The Office, and Avengers: Endgame.
